Aleksey Nikolaevich Tsivilev heads the non-profit partnership Transport Union of the North-West. He is a deputy of the seventh convocation of the Legislative Assembly of Saint Petersburg and chairs its standing commission on transport and the development of transport infrastructure.

Education

Graduated from Saint Petersburg State Polytechnic University with a degree in boiler and reactor engineering. In 2012 he received a second degree in law from the North-West Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Russian Federation.

Career

From 2009 to 2016 he headed the local administration of the Knyazhevo municipal district. Since 2013 he has chaired the Saint Petersburg regional branch of the Russian Pedestrians’ Union.

In September 2021 he was elected a deputy of the Legislative Assembly of Saint Petersburg. He sits on the budget and finance committee and chairs the standing commission on transport and the development of transport infrastructure — the committee responsible for the city’s entire transport sector.
